According to this article in PASTE, Paul Simon will be releasing a new album in May. This is his first release since 2000's YOU'RE THE ONE. Brian Eno, known for his work with U2, is producing. Eno was instrumental in helping U2 find that signature sound. Fourty plus years into his career Paul Simon continues to reinvent himself and his sound. I'm anxious to see what this collaboration brings. A little Paul Simon trivia: Simon says his favorite lyric is "Toss me a cigarette/I think there's one in my raincoat", from the song AMERICA. My favorite Paul Simon lyric is from the song Rene And Georgette Magritte With Their Dog After The War; "decades gliding by like Indians..." Check out this site for the stories behind his songs.
