LibriVox is a website devoted to recording all the books in public domain. Because the readers are volunteers and the works are public domain, there is no cost to download them. Their
catalog isn't extensive, but it is well rounded.
I haven't had a chance to listen to the downloads yet, so I can't comment on the quality. I'll let you know more when I know more. Meanwhile, pop in and let me know what you think.
