Jason was standing at the kitchen sink. As he turned to walk through the kitchen, he came dangerously close to breaking his neck. There in the middle of the kitchen floor was Chaplin's water bowl. Jason danced around less than gracefully, trying to avoid a nasty fall. "Why is the water bowl in the middle of the floor?!?" Chaplin sat just around the corner, watching everything. He had dragged the empty bowl out of the corner to the center of the room, knowing it could not be ignored.
Lesson from my cat: If you want it, ask for it. Don't hide in the corner and wait for someone to notice you're dying of thirst.
