Christmas came early to our house. I got my iPod!!

I absolutely love it! I'm in the process of uploading my favorite CDs. I bought a couple of music videos from iTunes. I have video ability, therefore I must possess videos. I don't find the screen tedious at all. I don't know that I would want to watch a 2 hour movie on the mini screen, but for videos its more than adequate.

My favorite thing so far? Podcasts. I'm hooked. I am a die hard NPR fan. (Much to Jason's dismay.) I love that I can download all the broadcasts not aired on our local station. I am currently downloading a 7 part pod cast celebrating the 30th anniversary of Springsteen's Born To Run. Which reminds me, I'll need to purchase Born In The USA from iTunes. I am a child of the cassette age, you know?

My only complaint about this wonderful jewel of technology is the pesky earphone covers. I've lost 3 already.

Next on my shopping list: iPod accessories and a volume purchase of earphone covers...
