Jason's youngest brother Andy is chef at Manhattan Ocean Club. He lives in Queens and works in Manhattan. I thought of him this morning as NPR reported on the transit strike. Being the modern New Yorker he has become, he depends on public transportation to get to work.

For Andy's sake, as well as millions of other New Yorkers, I hope it is all settled soon. It won't be getting warmer in NYC any time soon.
