John Lennon said, "Life is what happens when you're busy making other plans."
This weekend, we were busy making other plans. Our family farm is hosting a corn maze, five acres of winding, twisting and turning paths. There are pumpkins to be diplayed, hay bales to be carried and candied apples to be prepared.
But then, LIFE happened. We discovered this little guy.
We had no idea there was a calf on the way. He was born to a heifer. She rejected him, so he'll have to be fed on a bottle. He's weak and shaky, but Uncle Mike says he looks determined.
Jason named him Cash, because he's all in black. We're all pulling for the little guy.
