Do you ever surprise yourself? Do things you had no idea you were capable of? Or fail at things you never thought would snag you?

After Sarah posted about some cool new blogskins, I got it in my head that I need a new look around here. So I spent an hour or so creating a new face for Haystacks. It turned out really well, I though. A whimsical cartoon of a girl standing in the rain. Colorful. Girly. Perfect.

You'll notice the yellow and green dots are still here....

It was just too compartmentalized. Too orderly. I'm a right brainer to the core. I like things out in the open where I can see them, analyze and make decisions.

Maybe I was trying to prove to myself that I am not as resistant to change as I know myself to be. I can't seem to let go of my original template. (SNAG!)

I did however drive in Atlanta traffic this week without having a panic attack. SCORE!

It seems I'm one for one in the self improvement game.
