The total devastation I am seeing on the news is beyond belief. I feel as though I'm watching a film from a third world country or a made for TV disaster movie. I cannot begin to imagine what the people in Louisiana, Mississippi and Alabama are suffering though.

We can all do something. Don't waste your energy on pity. That will serve no purpose. Put your compassion into action. Send money. Send supplies. Contact a local church or Red Cross chapter and ask how you can help. PRAY!

Monday Jason and I will be working at the local Red Cross drop point for supplies. We'll be manning the supply drop off station, gathering and sorting supplies. It's a small contribution, I know, but I have to do something. Don't you?
