I have no intention of making any sort of political stand here. It's not that I don't have one, I do. I just don't want to discuss it with you.

Politics aside. London?! London?!

The English have an unbelievable fortitude. This is the nation that took on Hitler! While America was sending troops to war, holding drives for war bonds and recyclables, London was on the front lines.

To avoid political entanglements I will not elaborate on the issue of IRA bombings. I will say this, at the height of the militant IRA, bombings became so commonplace they hardly ranked front page.

I believe the terrorist have made a grave strategic error.
