Look at this little guy.

Ugly? Yes. He has a title to prove it. But somebody loves him. He has an owner who is nursing him through a series of health problems, because she loves him.

Do we only love the beautiful people? Do we only care for and nurture those who meet the standards we have set?

Look around you . Who are the 'ugly' people in your environment? The woman who sits by her self in church, who maybe doesn't smell like roses? The guy outside your favorite restaurant who picks up trash? The kid in the lunchroom who dresses a few years out of style? Is it the lady at the office everyone makes fat jokes about?

It's not always easy to love the 'ugly' ones. Today, make an effort to see beyond the physical. See them through the eyes of some one who loves them. Maybe they will extend the same curtesy to you.
