XM Radio may be the best thing that has ever happened to me. Not counting knowing God and marrying a perfect guy...okay, XM Radio is the best inanimate object type thing that has ever happned to me. Do you have one? Get one! I live out in the middle of nowhere. I don't get a very good radio signal and I don't have cable television. XM may have saved my sanity. With over 200 stations playing music, news, sports and miscellaneous sounds, you cannot get bored. Feel like hearing some George Jones? Tune in Americana. Like Wilco? Try XCountry. Are you a punk at heart? Fungus is the station for you. Currently, my favorite station is HearMusic. "Eclectic" is the word that comes to mind. Just the other day they played back to back, THE STONES, EMMY LOU HARRIS, SNOW PATROL and ENYA. The initial cost depends on what type unit you buy and the monthly fee is around $12.00. If you love music, satellite radio is the way to go. I can guarentee you won't be disappointed
