Sometimes the moment comes in a 'click' not a 'crash'. It's that moment when you realize you cannot do 'this' again. (Maybe it's a poisoned relationship, maybe it's a bad habit, maybe it's an addiction. Your 'this' is surely different from mine.) It's that instant when somewhere inside you a voice says, "No more". And you walk away.

One might expect a crash; the sound of a carefully laid foundation, held together by vigilance, crumbling in a blast of enlightenment. But, no. Just a click, like a combination finding its mark on a safe dial.
