Yes, friends, that's right. I have declared 2005 the year of the road trip. I'm very excited about our travel schedule for the next few months. I know some of you probably travel about on a regular basis. Well, we don't. We're homebodies. My husband is of Irish heritage. He likes to explain his love of home by saying, "I'm Irish. We don't leave until the food runs out." Here's a quick run down: April 13-14 - Nashville, TN We're headed to NashVegas for the GMAs. Its only a quick 2 day trip, but I think its a great way to kick off THE YEAR OF THE ROAD TRIP. June 23-25 - Charlotte, NC We're meeting up with some friends for SonFest at Carowinds. Funnel cake and Rock n Roll! July 15-ish - Fort Worth, TX Texas, here we come! I've never been to Texas and I am looking forward to it. A dear friend has agreed to play host and tour guide. September 9-11 - Orlando, FL "Traci, now that you've declared this THE YEAR OF THE ROAD TRIP, what are you going to do?" I'm going to Disneyland! September 23-26 - Memphis, TN I'm going to Graceland. Graceland. Memphis, Tennessee. My mother is a die hard Elvis fan and she has always wanted to see Graceland. Why not? I love the blues! Its a 9 hour drive... this jaunt might do me in.... I vow to keep a travel journal and take some great pics, so all you homebodies can travel with me. ;)
